Few Canadian bluegrass bands can boast of the ongoing success as can the
Bluegrass Diamonds, either on stage or on recordings. Oft times, it's not easy to
put a finger on exactly what it is that makes a band successful. Great
musicianship alone won't do it. Rapport with the audience is an essential, but not
the end all. Nor is it ambition. It's the right combination of all of these, and more.
That's what the Bluegrass Diamonds have, the right combination...and more.
Since the first recording, "Memories To Hold", the Bluegrass Diamonds have
continued to create 'memories to hold', both in English and French. And
nowhere is it more evident than in this new recording, "After All These Years".
The selections chosen here is a powerful mixture of the old and the new, many
with new arrangements, performed with a conviction that makes the old 'new',
and with the integrity still intact.
